B-52s Farewell Still Faring Well

The new-wave foursome who perform as a trio since Keith Strickland retired from touring in 2012 cap off their 2024 at the Venetian Theatre on November 13. Then they’ll roam back home for a hometown show in Athens, Ga. on Dec. 14 and return for (at least) five more Venetian dates: April 11, 12, 16, 18 and 19.

Unfortunately, the 80s stalwarts already picked the Fontainebleau’s Bleau ive Theater, where they previously announced a show on Dec. 30, or New Year’s Eve Eve.
“Duran Duran is more than a hit-making powerhouse, they are an iconic household name that always brings the energy for an incredible show,” Fontainebleau Sr. VP of Entertainment Fedor Banuchi said in a statement. “We are thrilled to close out the year with them.”
On Thursday, the boys added a second show, but that s not on New Year s Eve, either. It s on Dec. 29. (So New Year’s Eve Eve Eve.) Tickets for the added show will go on sale 10 a.m. PT Friday, Nov. 15 .
